Napa Company - Stamford

We have been coming to napa for 10 years and it was bittersweet to be there in the last night of the service. eating is always consistently good. the personal is professional and pleasant. the wine list interesting. we will miss what has been the best restaurant in stamford for decades without asking.

That was great. we ordered the brussel sprouts, rosmarinfries, knödel for appetizers and went with the short nativity as escape. everything was delicious and the ambiente was perfect for a date. we would like to come back soon.

Good ambiente. great food. great wine selection. ok in service (responsiw, but not warm.) love their inner city stamford location.

I have been to dinner several times in napa and I have always enjoyed going there. eating is always good, the service does not rush you and the atmosphere is good. but I have to complain about the food I got this time. I was there for the first time for lunch and ordered the salat, which is a cobb salad in the round, but I don't remember the names. I ordered it with huh. I don't think it was the salate, so I feel it was the huh that was so incredibly salty. I didn't notice it until I went through my meal, but I couldn't even eat later in the night because I had turned off the whole salt. I know restaurants use much more salt, then I would ever add to a recipe, but to have the salty feeling until I went to bed was a bit much. I'm not in the hurry to go back there. I will probably go back in the restaurant week if I think they really put their best foot forward. but I will definitely watch how salty everything I order.

Been here several times and the food is consistently good. Very inventive menu, healthy yet hearty. Service is pretty good but comfort of dining chairs not so much. That won't stop me form going back though.
