My wife and I have been enjoying lunch here on Fridays for years and we always enjoy it. It's just a fish and chip cafe, but everything is well done. The fish is well cooked and the batter is the best we've had from any similar place. The chips are perfect and the staff are pleasant and efficient. What more could you want from this type of establishment?

After hearing about the restaurant's awards, we had high expectations when we decided to dine here. However, we were disappointed with our experience. While the food was decent, it did not meet the standards we were expecting from an award-winning restaurant. We ordered squid, cajau, and a torte, all served with chips and mushy peas. Despite requesting a large portion of mushy peas, we received a very small serving. Additionally, the coffee I ordered, which was listed on the menu with multiple options, turned out to be the worst coffee I have ever tasted. It had a strange rubbery texture towards the end, making it truly unpalatable. The service was also subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and failed to greet us or make eye contact when we arrived. When I ordered my coffee, the server simply plonked it on the counter without a word. Overall, the average food and terrible customer service have dissuaded me from returning to this restaurant.

Staff are pleasant and efficient. What more can you want from this type of establishment?
