This was frustrating as it did impact what we ordered. They were also out of some items that the online ordering tooldidn't indicate. The biscuit you can get as a side with jam tasted different than the ones with the breakfast sandwiches, andnot for the better. The live band music during brunch was also too loud for the space. Not sure I'd go back.
I was in the area and wanted something nice for lunch. Ordered a Charlie for myself and a Nash for a friend to-go on their website. I got there 5 mins before the estimated pickup time and the place was pretty empty. I didn't see any orders besidesmine. Waited for another 5-10 mins to get my food. It was fresh and hot. I was excited to try the food, only to find out thatthey forgot my spicy fried chicken for the Charlie order when I got home. I paid $15 for 4 pieces of waffle and jams. The waffleitself was alright. My friend said their Nash biscuit and the fried chicken was delicious. Such a bummer. I might come back butwill start checking any take out order on the spot from now on.
Excellent biscuits that crumble in your hands. Fried chicken is decent. Pretty pricey around $25 for biscuit, home fries, and cold brew coffee. I ordered the El Jefe biscuit (fried chicken, pimento cheese, bacon, pickles). It was delicious. Home frieswere just OK. They were just chopped up french fries with some seasoning and onions. The cold brew on tap was quite good.
Was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled on this place while in the area. My husband had one of the biscuit sandwiches and it was very good. I had the Daybreak bowl which was also good. We also split a waffle which was great. And the drink of the day wasa Splish which for the price it's more than a good deal. So delicious. The only critique I would have is on the bowl to add asauce or something on top. The items were seasoned well but there wasn't enough cheese or egg to tie them all together. May Isuggest a fresh Pico and avocado crema??
Really terrific food! I had the Beverly and it was delicious! Chicken was tasty and the addition of the burrata cheese was outstanding. The tang of the balsamic reduction and bitterness of the arugula made the dish. Tying it all together was the sundried tomato gravy. Yum! My daughter had the Daybreak, which was a less impressive bowl of egg, sausage, mushrooms, greenpeppers and potatoes. Very filling though and I helped her finish. We also sampled the garlic fries. Very garlicky. A+. Wedecided to get the Waffle &Co for a dessert to go. It was incredible! I wish that we had a restaurant like this back home.
