El Vaquero - Stillwater

Went to eat with my family for Mother's day. The place is lovely, we really enjoy the atrium in the middle of the store. I was very happy to see that they had vegan (vegetarian) options. The food was delicious and not greasy, I ordered the vegetarian fajitas and the vegetables appeared to be more steamed than fried, which was nice. My husband and daughter enjoyed their meals as well. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. My only critique would be that there isn't enough lighting in the ladies restroom, it makes it very creepy and dingy feeling. Otherwise we enjoyed our time and enjoyed the food. Will be eating here again.

Good Mexican food and service in a large space. Great for large groups or even to celebrate a birthday. Several birthdays this evening which always adds some fun. You get a rousing round of happy birthday sung by the servers, with the birthday person in the festive sombrero! Lunch specials and a bar make this a good place for lunch or dinner. The dining area is large enough that even when they are busy it's a short wait.

Food was good, didnt like they used those store bought fake tortillas that taste funny but the beans and rice were actually pretty good and for some weird reason they had fruit in the middle of the plate, beer was cold which was great and service was on top of its game.

Good food, good service and good decoration. Food tastes like Mexican homemade food.

Really good. As stated in other reviews it seems at times a server could be a little more peppy.
