The sandwiches were perfect, I had tuna and red onion and my husband had ham with whole grain mustard. Lovely sandwiches followed by very large fruit scones jam and cream. They were so large that we had to cut them into quarters to pick them up. Then we had individual decorated carrot cake muffins which were delicious.
Lovely afternoon tea. And the ladies were helpful. I chose egg sarnies but you can choose from a variety. The bread was lovely and soft. Scones were a choice of cheese or fresh cream with jam and We had a variety of homemade cakes. Was homely a bit like been at your nans house. With free flowing tea. Cozy and quaint.
Called in for a snack at lunchtime. I had a lovely toasted tea cake and my friend had a lovely big scone, both were delicious. Waitress was very friendly and pleasant she should give the lady behind the counter a few tips!! Bit cramped but worth a visit.
What a lovely time we had here. My step daughter (11) and I enjoyed afternoon tea for two at a very low price of £16! We had a choice of sandwiches, scones and cupcakes plus crisps and salad. It was all brought out beautifully and they even had beauty and the beast teapot and cups! She loved it and so did I. Food was lovely. We would definitely come again! We did struggle to eat it all there was so much! No pre booking is necessary which is great. Very friendly service. 5 stars.
I have no clue how this establishment has had any good reviews. The staff are the rudest most ignorant staff I have ever seen if they get paid for ignoring customers and being rude they must all be millionaires. The food is very poor curled up sandwiches and poor quality tea. Then looking round we felt ill the place was filthy looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in months. First Visit- Last Visit What a Complete Let Down.
