Fleming's Prime Steakhouse

When you consider how appalling most American food is (how would most manage without a layer of melted over processed cheese) this should actually rate a 5. On the general scale of a good, down to earth, steak house this ranks very highly. The staff are friendly. The steaks are excellent. Pretty good range at the bar, cocktails are above average, wine choice is poor (but then Americans don't have the same palate for wine as Europeans). I suspect most would find this very good value.

My husband and I live at Saltgrass. My husband lives for the steak and I take my clients there and they love everything. Great portions, great taste, great potato soup!!!!!

The filet mignon I had at Saltgrass was the BEST steak I've had. Other items on the menu are equally as impressive and the wait staff has been nothing but courteous every time I've visited. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. It's so good here that I drive from Corpus Christi without a second thought to eat here. Anyone who complains about the prices should stick to Taco Bell. Highly recommended!!

The price of a steak is shocking not to mention the price for a soda. Yeah! You get free refills, that is if you can get your wait staff to comeback. The steak was not all that. Asked for medium got well done. This company should also teach their wait staff not to be RUDE!!! To ask if you want change back when paying. For the price of their steaks and bad service look elsewhere!!!

New owners must have cleaned house, and not in a good way. Horrible experience, used to be good. Just a dirty restaurant with horrible food. Would have been better off at Outback.
