Long Island Bagel Cafe - Stony Brook

Alright so my mom and I went into this place to get some grub. We ended up spending $36. This doesn?t make sense to me. Who walks into a deli and spends that much on chips and a couple of sandwiches? My mom got TUNA FISH on a bagel. Did they catch thetuna themselves fresh? It comes from a can for crying out loud. SO overpriced. The bagel was STALE.

Mike, the owner, came through in shining colors when LI Bagel catered our family reunion. Everything was fresh and delicious. From The gourmet sandwiches and wraps to the orzo Greek salad and more. Excellent. AND they catered to a family member whoneeded to have a GF lunch. He was very accommodating. Delivery man was on time and very accommodating. Kudos to LI Bagel!

We had a catering order for Sunday morning at the Nesconset location, and called Stonybrook to place the order. We spoke with Mike, who had our order ready and everything was fantastic! Our family loved the food, which was hot and fresh. Thank you to Mike and the staff for a great experience! We will definitely order again in the future.

Today, I called to place a lunch order for 3 people, but the man told me to text the number I called to order. As someone who works in health care, I don't have time to text 3 sandwich orders. I asked if I could place the order over the phone, but he said they don't do that. I mentioned that I had ordered recently and the girl took my order over the phone. When did a deli stop taking phone orders for pick up? I waited on hold as he instructed, but when my co-worker picked up the order, it was incorrect. One sandwich was supposed to have a plain bagel but had seeds instead, and we ordered three small iced teas but received two medium ones. If I had texted the order, it probably would have been even worse. The man even repeated the order back to me and the pick-up person. The food here is good, but their service is becoming terrible for the prices they charge. Very disappointing experience.
