Sushi Sushi Japanese Restaurant

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for years. However, we were disappointed with the teppanyaki we ordered during our dinner a few days ago. The new chef cooked the food too salty, even the vegetables were overly seasoned. Thankfully, the sushi was still fresh and enjoyable.

We frequently dine at this restaurant for dinner. My daughter enjoys her Sushi Bento with Grilled Chicken, and we usually order a meal for the family that costs around $28 CAD. This restaurant is definitely a great value for a family meal.

Although I recognize that Stouffville has limited options for Japanese cuisine, I find this restaurant to be somewhat basic in terms of menu choices and food quality. The portions of fish are small and the quality is reminiscent of supermarket food. The prices are reasonable, but I am uncertain if I would choose to dine here again.

We brought my wife here for a birthday dinner. A clean restaurant with a beautiful modern decor. I liked to see the cooking table near the dining area. Our sushi and sashimi entrees were good. I had the ribbed comb with rice, soup and salad. Not bad. A little too much mayonnaise on the salad for my pleasure. Many heavy sauces on the fish and ribs that tasted well, but I prefer smaller amounts of sauce. The meal was a good price. No special treats for the birthday party, only a compelled “fortunate birthday” greeting. I evaluate the restaurant “fair”. Just your average sushi restaurant.

I order takeout every week from Sushi Sushi. The sushi is incredibly fresh, the portion sizes are generous and we've never been disappointed. We especially like the spicy salmon sushi pizza... This our favorite sushi restaurant and the staff are very friendly too!
