The New Inn - Stratford-on-Avon

A group of six friends had a night away at this fantastic pub. Our rooms were charming and clean, with very comfortable beds. Communication before our arrival was excellent. We requested rooms together and dinner, which was all arranged and confirmed. We arrived a little late for dinner but Emma and Sophia were very accommodating. The dinner menu had a great selection, with two of us ordering the delicious pork. The other four meals, including the hanging kebab shown in the picture, were cooked perfectly and were a generous portion size. Well done to the chef! Breakfast the next morning was a self-service affair with tea and coffee, offering a great variety of choices and was once again lovely.

My family of 8 went to the restaurant for the Sunday carvery. The food was decent, with the beef cooked to our liking and the vegetables were okay, although they weren't replenished promptly when running low. The staff, particularly the booking staff, were friendly and helpful, but our server was a bit abrupt with my nephew for not following all the instructions, which was unnecessary. The carvery seemed to be popular, but I personally don't understand why as the quality was average. I doubt we'll return for a second visit.

We went to this establishment for the shooting simulator, followed by a meal afterwards for my wife's birthday (her choice). Both were brilliant. The simulator far exceeded our expectations. This was followed by a lovely meal (Chicken Pie, Balti, Apple Pie, Warm Chocolate Brownie) Thanks to all the staff. We'll be visiting again.

Food really nice and service really good. Accommodated our group at short notice. Restaurant seating area probably needs a freshen up and furniture looking it’s age otherwise would have been a fab 5.

The food was excellent as usual, but what really impressed me was the kindness of the staff. Because of my limited mobility, the woman at the front desk moved our table closer to the carvery so I wouldn't have to walk as far. I was very grateful for the offer to carry my plate to the table. Overall, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
