Trudie's Tea Garden - Stratford-on-Avon

Trudie is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the garden is a peaceful sanctuary. They offer delicious cakes and treats, along with a great selection of crafts to explore. I highly recommend stopping by when the new season begins next spring.

Although we did not have the opportunity to dine at this Tea Garden, I must still give it a five-star rating. While visiting the Cotswolds, we stumbled upon this charming tea establishment. Unfortunately, it was closed due to the Queen's festivities. The owner, however, was incredibly gracious and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Despite not being able to enjoy a meal, she allowed us to use her restroom and even offered to heat up frozen scones and brew tea for us. We declined her offer, but were touched by her kindness. As Americans, we appreciated her efforts to make us feel welcomed, even though she had to close unexpectedly.

After visiting the Cotswold distillery, we stumbled upon Trudies Tea Rooms. The women there welcomed us warmly and were very friendly. We enjoyed chatting, petting the dogs, and sipping on a delicious cup of tea. I also purchased a lovely handmade bracelet at the shop, which was crafted from recycled materials. We will definitely make a point to stop by for another visit the next time we are in the Cotswolds.

Recently reopened, Trudie’s Tea Garden and Craft Shop is a lovely place to visit. Trudie is so welcoming and accommodating, her cakes are freshly home baked and really delicious, and the quality of crafts in the little garden cabin are of extremely high quality. I bought a couple of lovely items as gifts. Great for purchasing something individual, or just a cuppa and cake, there are tables and chairs set up in the garden. She’s not open every day though so it pays to check opening times. At the moment she’s open Saturdays and Mondays, 11-3pm, as far as I’m aware. I’ll definitely be going again. And you will need to look out for the chalk board signs as it’s easily missed. Enjoy!

Stunning choice of cakes and they were exquisite. Trudie your host, is a delight and very welcoming. The tea room is eclectic and how a tea room should be, beautiful.
