I always loved eating there. either a steak with a pfeffer grain sauce with steamed vegetables and maic potatoes or a healthy poke dish. the personal was always helpful when I had to ask about the menu or the wine. I recommend this place especially in winter when they can sit around this camein.
On Saturday evening there was a meal in this pub and a few drinks. asked for a middle steak, received what I had a rare steak ordered chips and greens (veg) got greens and salat explained about the lack of chips, was said that they were made in 2 minutes, never received them, saw another patron take what the chips might have been. beer glasses were undersized by traditional schioner glasses. while the live acts were talented and the only redeeming function of the night, their placement next to the bar made it almost impossible to eat or drink without problems and the necessity to repeat order. at best was a sound...read more
My LOCAL/GO to pub! great specialties in the week (steaks, schnittys and burger,) a wonderful chef who needs his time to get out and introduce himself to customers, ask for feedback or a good ol' chat, beautiful atmosphere and incredible layout including a warm camein both inside and out for the cool winter nights. my favourite food: lachs mit maische und gemüüünen und zitronenbuttersoße *licks lippen*
As if it had a recent renovation, the crossways presents a clean, pleasant atmosphere for drinks and restaurants. the prices are at the top end for a pub meal, and the bistro offers its usual pub tea of steaks, carvings and pizzas with $10 child dishes that contain a jelly cup. the chicken nuggets and chips and linguine napoletana were cut off by the children and the chicken parmigiana with salate and chips, while decently proportional, was a little dry. there is also a basic closed soft case game studio with monkey and climbing equipment for the children. simple parking in a dedicated parking space are always a bonus. edited 26JAN18

The waitress told us which menu items she thought I could have, then checked with the waiter and came back to confirm. I ordered one of the options, but forgot to specify onion/garlic free and there was a sauce put on the burger I couldn't have. When we collected from the kitchen, they pointed out the garlic and the chef said he'd make a new one with different sauce. He then came out to the table to check whether there were any sauces I particularly liked or didn't like, so that he could make a sauce from scratch. The...read more
