Rice for King - Strathmore

My best friend and I both had soup and the taste was authentic with a hearty serving. Have eaten here in the past but this was by far the best. Keep up the good work we will be back.

Stopped in Strathmore for lunch. Easy access off Highway 1. Lunch was fast, hot and tasty! Fast prompt service.

We liked the updated atmosphere of this strip mall located restaurant, as well as the service and food. The food we can't say is authentic--because we don't know what authentic is! But we have eaten quite a variety of Asian foods, including in China, Taiwan, etc. This struck us as likely authentic. The beef noodle bowl had a great flavor (it came with bean sprouts, thai basil and lemon on the side), and the curry was fine. We'll definitely go back and try the other dishes. The food came quickly (we went in 5 minutes to closing, and were cordially welcomed), and the server was pleasant.

I work out of town some days for a project outside this town. When I come back through it is usually lunchtime so I know this location will meet my needs for a good meal at a good price that is quick.I can usully sit down, order, eat and pay under a half hour. I haven't eaten the appetizers but I have had the noodle soup, curry stirfries with rice, and the vermicelli bowls. I usually get seafood meals. The squid is firm and chewy but the rest I think is fine.

I am usually suspicious of new foods, but was pleasantly surprised with the fare at this Rice for King outlet. Both our dishes were tasty and prepared properly. Compliments to Hien for being a nice server.
