Chippers Grill - Streator

Great little local restaurant with a wonderful breakfast buffet with pretty good tasting food. The biscuits were a bit crumbly and dry but lather them up with the gravy and it's not a problem. The gravy was the typical pepper seasoned flour and water paste so nothing special but it tasted fine for what it was. Bacon and sausages were really tasty and so we're the pancakes. The only downside was the very dry and hard scrambled eggs that you took a carve out of like a casserole and no really fluffy, moist, and flavorful like I would have liked. Can't ding it a star for that since it IS a buffet after all. Service was prompt, courteous, and I never once had an empty coffee cup. Price was a very reasonable $11.99 per person.

I think some of the food could have a little more flavor and the buffet could be checked on more in my opinion. The pmave isnt like it use to be, again just my opinion.

The restaurant seems a bit dated on the inside. I have ordered out, and dined in, and the service is fast, and beyond expectations. The chicken is far and away some of the best I've ever had. The appetizers are hot and portions are huge. I'll be honest McDonald's is so expensive it's cheaper to eat here. Stop in for some great food, including a buffet!
