Food was nice. Service was fast and friendly atmosphere was pretty dank probably should of went on a match day morning.
This restaurant is in desperate need of a complete makeover. It looks very old and worn down. I don't understand why they invested so much money in the Copper Rose next door, but neglected to update this place. The prices for drinks and food are also increasing. The staff could definitely improve in being more polite and respectful towards customers.
The staff member at this restaurant was extremely rude for no apparent reason. When we attempted to order a drink, she told us we couldn't have it and demanded to know what we wanted instead. We politely asked for some time to decide, but she was visibly upset. She walked away before I could ask a question, and when I approached her, she was defensive and disrespectful. I simply wanted to inquire about a refund for the two drinks we were charged for but didn't receive. Despite her initial promise to refund us, I later discovered she had no intention of doing so. She returned shortly after and aggressively pressured us to make a decision, even resorting to childish behavior when we hesitated. She seemed intent on pushing bottled drinks on us, creating a very uncomfortable situation. It was clear that this woman had some serious issues and was taking them out on innocent customers. It was a strange and unpleasant experience that left me questioning the professionalism of the establishment.
My local pub is a bit run down and could use a renovation. The toilets are in poor condition and there are often local individuals who have issues with alcohol and drugs present. However, the food we ordered was good and they have a great selection of real ales.
