Harvest Moon - Sundre

I was nervous to order after the new ownership, especially because I kept hearing it wasn’t as good as before. BUT it was delicious! We especially loved the chicken balls. They weren’t mainly dough and a tiny piece of chicken. Everything else was just as tasty, and we will be ordering again!

Ginger beef was okay. Everything else was really bland, including salt&pepper squid which is supposed to be spicy...

Stick with the Chinese food. The Vietnamese and Thai food is not so good on the menu. They didn’t know how to make a sauce. So I got dry noodles. Don’t get spring rolls unless you want mayo for the dipping sauce. Awful.

The food here was yummy and mostly done right. I did not like their deep fried short ribs because there was not much meat on the bone and it was more work than it was worth to eat it. That said, the ginger beef, house fried rice, and egg rolls were all done very nicely.The food aside, the dining room was very very dim and kind of dingy feeling. It was very empty when I was there so it felt a bit creepy. If there was some better lighting it would make a world of difference.
