Mario The Baker - Sunrise

We ordered takeout pizza, one sausage mushroom pepperoni and one pepperoni take out. I did not check the pizza before leaving because I thought I was dealing with a reliable and competent business. Got home and found both pizzas are sausauge only. The owner had an attitude when I called, my friend had to drive back to the store and exchange sausage for pepperoni so we could not all eat together. The owner offered us nothing to compensate for the screw up.

Our server was Dario- he 's so friendly. He gives great suggestions and he always remembers the little things. He knows my husband drinks a lot of diet coke and as soon as he sees us coming, he greets us at the table with one already in hand. The courses are timed well, always comes out fresh (and accurate). (Only complaints: no cream for coffee- only milk, and no splenda).

I sort of expected that eating out on the day after Thanksgiving would be a bit of a problem with overly tired servers and staff; but was pleasantly surprised with the quick and friendly service on our first time dining here. We decided to have the antipasto and Pasta E Fagioli soup with garlic rolls. Our intention was to try one of the main menu items also; However, the portions of the Antipasto (loaded with meat) and the large size of the bowel of soup, absolutely filled us up, not only that but we also had more then enough to take home a dogie bag with enough antipasto to make a meal for our son who works nights. Our waitress came by often to check if we needed refills on our iced tea, and suggested that next time we split an antipasto between us so we would be able to try one of they're specials. There is no charge for sharing, I thought that information was both exceptional and observant for a waitress and was much appreciated. I will mention that I didn't think the garlic rolls were quite as good as the previous poster, they were good, don't get me wrong, served warm, fresh, and plentiful, but not quite enough garlic for me. Overall I'd give this place an A-plus and will surely eat here again. Strange name though, I've passed this place many times and thought it was a bakery never thought it was an Italian restaurant.

Fast seating (tables and booths). Waitstaff very friendly vast menu selection huge portions (great value) excellent homemade quality only order the rolls with the GARLIC, they are the best!
