I came here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. Damn I was disappointed this time : . Even though it wasn't even busy, we were told it might be a 20-25 minute wait.Food was good, we ordered Red's Popcorn Shrimp and the new Crispy Parmesan Brussel Sprouts. Both came out hot and fresh! But they forgot forks and knives hahah!They got my partner's burger out after the appetizers but they either forgot or bumped my burger off their screens early. It was a little hard to find where out server went. Were they watching whole floor? We aren't sure. Was there a manager on the floor to watch what was happening? No Idea. Was our server working solo on the floor? Probably. I saw a couple of tables asking for their bills because they were waiting too long.I walked by the service line/ expo line and saw a handful of people just chilling and hanging out. I think in that time frame, I saw more people talking than food coming out of the window. I've worked in restaurant before, I get it. But damn.I ended up looking around for some to go boxes for me to pack up my food.I hate complaining about a business, but damn you did me dirty this time Red Robins Surrey Location. Shame, such a good location but y'all hurt me. Probably won't come back anytime soon.

I love their bottomless fries especially the garlic parmesan ones and their chicken burgers are delicious. The servers are friendly and helpful and if you sign up for their loyalty program you can get a free burger to redeem anytime during your birthday month.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that is very reasonably priced with unlimited sides and drinks. They have a great selection of healthier options for kids and a large selection of entrees.

The food quality left much to be desired, and I felt compelled to share my honest thoughts.From the moment we sat down, it was clear that something was amiss. The menu had promised a variety of mouthwatering dishes, but the reality was far from it. We ordered fish chips and a Burger, hoping to savor the flavors and uniqueness the restaurant claimed to offer.To start, the appetizers arrived lukewarm and lacked the promised freshness. The main courses were even more disappointing. The fish and chips were overcooked and tasted bland. It was evident that the kitchen had either rushed the preparation or lacked the necessary skill to execute these dishes properly.The service was fine, It seemed like the restaurant was understaffed.In conclusion, I would recommend not going to this location based on my recent visit. I hope that the restaurant takes these criticisms to heart and works to improve the dining experience for future patrons.

Saturday Sept 16 2023Red Robin Surrey: First time eating here and was truly excited. My son ate at the Vancouver branch and he was raving about it. Unfortunately for me, this visit might be my last especially for this branch. We arrived 1:50pm was seated and they took our orders at 2:05pm. We waited… and waited aaand waited?. It was taking so long and no one was informing us what was causing the delay. I asked 3 servers in total, each one saying they will ask but they never came back to me to update us. We were almost going to walk out of the restaurant despite being very hungry when our order arrived brought by the supervisor I think. She was apologetic and said they were understaffed. If only someone came back to us to give us a reason why our order took almost 1hour to arrive, I could have been more understanding. But we were seeing the people around us get served their orders when we arrived before them. So sad, so disappointing. We ate our food with low spirits. We just wanted to be done and get out. What should have been a happy meal for my family was ruined.

I had lunch at this restaurant today. They are currently offering a limited time poutine, so I decided to try it! The poutine consisted of Red Robin's steak fries, gravy, cheese, and mushrooms, and it also came with a side of extra gravy. The portion was large, so I was glad to share it. The poutine was delicious, but I would ask for extra cheese next time. The gravy had a good consistency, the mushrooms were sliced into bite-sized pieces, and the fries were not soggy. I hope they keep this item on the menu for a bit longer, as it is a hearty and satisfying meal.
