The Emporer Chinese - Sutton

We have been regular patrons of The Imperial for the past few years. It used to be a place where we enjoyed delicious food, but our last visit, a few years ago on our birthday, was disappointing. While the food was mostly good, the staff was very rude. When I asked for a fork, it was thrown at me. We mentioned that we didn't have our drinks, which they had forgotten to bring. Despite this negative experience, we decided to give them another chance. That was a mistake. The price of the unlimited option had increased significantly, and the staff was even ruder. Everything we ordered was either too sweet or too salty. They repeatedly tried to take away my plate while we were still eating, making us feel unwelcome. To top it off, they added a service fee to the bill. We only had beer and shandy with our meal, yet the bill was exorbitant. We will not be returning to The Imperial after this disappointing experience.

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant. We opted for vegetarian and shrimp options while also trying the halal meat. I would definitely return here again. My favorite dish was the sweet and sour king prawn balls.

The dining experience was superb as usual. We have been regulars at this restaurant for years and often order takeout from here. It is understandable that prices have increased over time, but we were surprised by the significant rise in prices since our last order in December. We will still continue to order from here, but perhaps not as frequently.

Sad to say that our experience last night was disappointing. in the price, but I could have dealt with it, because it's very good to eat. what triggered this review is the recruitment of the personal. we have arrived at the right time and. table was not ready, what was not a problem, as we sat in the bar for about minutes, starter quickly came as we ordered the main of the staff quite abruptly said, we had to order the desert now . at around the lights were suddenly erected and it was like a snuck they hooked! we asked why they shut down to say that they are now close, we then became a sob story about how hard they work and they also need dinner. the waitress gave this commentary in a wise way that almost brought me to please us one in the acceptance of our empathy and that we should be extremely grateful. I'm sorry, but that's a bit of a sweat when they just gave up their prices. unnecessary to say we will never be back again and order a retreat from them again.

Used to be our go to chinese restaurant for a great take-away. However, the prices have increased by over for some dishes; and the menu is woefully overpriced. We will not be using again; time to find another takeaway.
