Subway - Swanzey

It's a Subway!! Always more clean than the Main St. location

I am leaving 1 star for 1 reason only. The manager Devin Menard. Watching him berate his staff in front of me, to the point of watching them shake while making my sandwich. I only waited about 20 seconds before being helped. One gentleman started my order the other was checking on bread in the oven. The manager came out of nowhere (from the store somewhere, not from the back of the subway or the bathroom). He then grabbed a metal pole and hit the bread with it and immediately started to berate the young man who was checking on it. Right in front of me, he then asked the young man to go to the back room. Bashing on him more. All the while I can hear everything. The only reason I will EVER return to this location is to support the AMAZING young men that helped me. Thank you SO MUCH Daniel and Jared. You both deserve SO much more than the manager you got. I will be checking in to ensure no retaliation is put on these young men. Look at my Google profile, I NEVER leave bad reviews. However something had to be said here and I couldn't let it go without someone knowing. Do better Subway!

The service, especially the extremely friendly lady in the morning with the dreads, is great. The prices are ridiculous now though. The owner has decided to gouge his customers by doubling and tripling prices without providing any more value. There are only 2 or 3 people that actually possess customer service skills at this particular store in Swanzey NH, the rest are rude and treat you like you're bothering them to come in and get a sandwich. The last straw was paying for extra meat, and not getting any meat or cheese on all 3 of our sandwiches, just vegetables and sauce, not even a toasted bun and an attitude when asked to make it right Meal type: Lunch
