Run by a lovely family. Its Family friendly and also welcomes dogs. Good music, food and brilliant atmosphere. Love coming here and we aren't even local to the area.

Today we had a great time in here. The pub was full of families. The kids were involved in face painting . easter egg hunt. .decorate an egg and pinata .and a lovey buffet was laid on. Then top of the day a massive meat draw for charity . Thank you king Queen

Lovely simple reasonably priced food, friendly staff, Dead Kennedys on the jukebox, what more could you want!

Had a delicious Sunday roast this week. Lots of fresh veggies, plenty of meat in comfortable surroundings and very competitively priced. Will definitely return regularly.

I had a good steak court today with my so-called amazing price-performance ratio : 2 steaks and bottle prosecco for £25. steak was very tender and delivered by local metzger. so it is English meat! very friendly pub serves great beer and they know how to look around and serve a good pint. cordial gratitude to the chef for a great meal and also their pfeffer sauce was amazing. thank you.
