Daniel's Pub - Sydney

We enjoyed a satisfactory meal and beer, but nothing particularly memorable. The ambiance was a bit dim and dismal, and the service was average. However, it satisfied our hunger and was a unique experience.

During a business trip to Sydney, I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking from my hotel. The ambiance was enhanced by live music, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The service I received from all staff members was excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The prices were fair.

Stopped in today it is so beautiful and bright now look very delicious. the only thing better then the food was the service very charming to earth waiter name Michelle simply delightful and full of fun I would recommend her section! the food a surf and...Turf was delicious after my son even I had to try to see a grilled cheeseburger cooked with homemade frits, to perfection the whole experience was perfect thanks to people You will soon

I am so disappointed to write this review! I typically do not leave reviews, but my experience at Daniels today was so disappointing that I felt I had to share. This was our first visit to Daniels since it changed ownership. For many years, my family loved dining at Daniels for their generous portions and delicious comfort food. Unfortunately, our experience today was far from enjoyable. The quality of the food was lacking, as evidenced by the unappetizing pictures on their Facebook page. My mother and I ordered the beef and cabbage dish. The portion was small and there was hardly any meat, not to mention the vegetables were undercooked. The meat was so tough that I couldn't even cut through it. The only positive aspect was the service, which I would rate two stars. It is truly disheartening to see a once great restaurant decline in quality like this.

Had takeout from Daniels Alehouse last night. We ordered a spinach wrap and fries and the pan fried haddock with mashed potatoes. Both were delicious!! Would definitely recommend eating there!
