I enjoyed my visit to this cafe. The coffee was good, although it could have been better. The long black was a bit weak for the small cup size. The salad sandwich was tasty and the scones were okay. I would consider returning to try their coffee with a double shot.
Have been there several times for lunch, it always seems busy, seats can be a little cramped. Service is always helpful and friendly. Both times have ordered the pasta ragu which is filling and tasty. The coffee is good and the place is licensed .
Stayed around the corner from this café during a recent holiday in Sydney. Had seen a crowd of people waiting out the front every day I walked past (on my way to whatever I had planned for the day) without giving it too much thought. On my final day in Sydney, I needed something brekkie (since I was flying home and didn't want to get anything at the airport - too expensive), so thought "why not" - if there is a crowd out the front of a café everyday, then they must be good.Didn't have to wait long to be served, and decided to get their bacon & egg roll and coffee deal ($8.50). Wow, I have not had a bacon and egg roll as delicious as this in a very long time (if ever). I wasn't overly complicated, just a simple roll, but the bacon and egg was cooked perfectly. The coffee was also quite good - the only down side was that I wish I could have had a bigger size.Am now kicking myself as I wish I had tried this café earlier in my stay. They have a decent selection of take away breakfast options, which is ideal for the large number of office workers who work in the surrounding area.
Crowded and noisy, but service was good. Artsy atmosphere with eclectic furnishing and tableware. Probably not a regular.
