Flavor 19 - Sydney

The food was okay. I ordered mac and cheese for my vegetarian son from the kids menu, but it came with bacon bits that were not listed on the menu. Not a great experience.

The food is delicious, with the fish and chips being a standout. The view is absolutely beautiful and it's conveniently located just a short walk away from Cape Breton University.

I have never had a meal that I didn 't absolutely love. The steak is always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The 'goodnight Irene ' is another favorite. Our server tonight was fantastic. I wish I caught her name. I will continue to enjoy this place and highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for a great evening out.

The vegetable side of carrots and broccoli were delicious and appeared to be fresh from the farm, not frozen like in some other restaurants. The 10 oz steak appeared to be smaller, more like 7-8 oz, and slightly overcooked, but still tasty!

What stood out at Flavor 19 was the amazing service we got from Michelle. She was quick to greet us at the door, super friendly and attentive the whole time. She always filled our water, made conversation, and we never had to wait too long between courses!The Greek souvlaki pita was delicious and so was the macaroni and cheese with crispy chicken. Really enjoyed cheesecake dessert too (only pic I took). Portions did feel a bit smaller than expected given the price but still satisfactory. Decor of Flavor 19 felt a little bit dated… I expected a more modern restaurant. Did not affect my experience though. Overall I would go back, there are so many great things on the menu it was so hard to choose!!
