In India, vendors from all walks of life sell this dish to a diverse clientele, showcasing the culture and hospitality of Maharashtra. However, my experience at Mumbai Express was far from authentic. The vendor seemed confused when I placed my order, and the vada pav I received was microwaved instead of being freshly fried in hot oil. The chili paste added to the dish was overpowering and left me feeling disappointed and misrepresented. I urge anyone looking to experience authentic Indian cuisine to do their research and avoid Mumbai Express. It is important to support restaurants that truly represent the flavors and culture of India.
I had the small dish for a quick lunch, which was satisfying in size. It's a great option if you're in a hurry and want something delicious that won't break the bank.
I went to this restaurant with my family after a long day outdoors. The Indian restaurant offers a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. We ordered a combo meal with rice, two side dishes, and a naan. The portion size was sufficient for two people. The naan was especially impressive, being soft and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to fellow Indians looking for authentic Desi cuisine.
Good fast food that came with great service. Nothing as a smile and inviting vibes from the lady who serves us!!!
Veggie dish with rice $8, meat dish with rice $11. I asked for half meat half veggie and was happy to pay $11. Instead she wanted to charge me an extra dollar for less meat...$12. I instead opted for veggie only so instead of eliciting...an extra $1, they lost $3. Their crazy pricing makes no sense.
