Piccolo Me - Sydney

Love that this place pays full attention to its environment and has a bit of fun. With Halloween on they'd decked out the interior. Staff were great, one corrected the other when I ordered to make sure it was rung up correctly. Green tea is hard to eff up but I'd return for the service.

This is my go-to spot for a quick lunch catch-up with friends. The coffee is exceptional, the sandwiches are delicious, the baristas are skilled, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I especially enjoy the creative designs in my coffee cup every Friday.

I 'm from Wellington, the self proclaimed coffee capital of the world. Since moving to Australia, I 've struggled to find cafés that make adequate coffee. Piccolo Me is one such place. They 've got excellent quality coffee, and wonderful staff they always greet me with a smile, and remembered my 'usual ' before I had even been there ten times (enough times to warrant a free coffee with their loyalty card).

My office is just around the corner and most mornings my standard order is a large cappuccino and a smashed avocado on sourdough. The coffee here is perfect! Very very smooth I would also highly recommend the smashed avocado as a light breakfast for your morning.

Small spot along King St which has a variety of unique offerings most famously the Nutella bomb), but it is their coffee that is worth coming for first and foremost. Seating is available, but can be a tad noisy tight for more than a casual meeting. Outdoor tables are great for a bit of sunshine and people watching. Daily piccolo special is good value $2 3-4pm).
