I came with nabelby for a dinner not planned on Saturday night. never heard, or read reviews, looked good, so just went in. we sat right away. the decor is simple and yet beautiful. we had the Arancini balls in the mouth smiling delicious! n then the fries oh the fries, where do I start at all! it was fried in pork fat or a heavenly oil and tasted divinely with the aioli. my hubby wasn't a fan because he didn't eat pork or meat. Horrible first experience. Went on a Wednesday night for their cheese wheel risotto special and was only made aware when I was ordering that the special requires minimum 2 orders. This isn’t stated on ANY of their promotional materials or website. I ended up ordering two portions as I had no other option. Both were bland as anything and poor value for money. I had to season with extra salt, pepper, and Parmesan. The dish is made in a **** cheese wheel! I shouldn’t be having to add more cheese. Mediocre and left a poor impression on me overall. Pizzas were quite decent and had great toppings so i would recommend trying the pizzas here! Sadly, the pastas took a long time to arrive and were disappointing. After an hour, we were finally informed that they had run out of a specific type of pasta so we opted for a different option. On the bright side, it arrived not long after but one pasta was undercooked.. Came here for a corporate lunch with my team and thought it would be great to give this place a go after all the great things I have heard. Upon arrival staff were friendly. We were the first people in the restaurant and it filled up pretty quick, but we were last to be served after several attempts to catch our waitresses attention. It took 30 minutes for our orders just to be taken. So then we waited but ordered garlic bread to hold us over until the mains came. Saw the garlic bread sitting in the window for 10 minutes and no server picked it up. I was almost at the point of grabbing it myself. My wife and I had a lunch on beautiful sunny day at this fantastic resturant. We had risotto pasta mixed with scallops, chives, saffron risotto and butter. The taste was exactly as authentic italian pasta . The atmosphere inside the resturant and oustside was spectacular bcz we were able to see scenic views of opera house and humongous sydney harbor bridge. In the end , we had cocktails too which was overall an overwhelming time at the place and staffs were friendly too. Great place for food and drinks
