Toros Kebab - Sydney

Friendly cheap fast eating with a Turkish vibe. chicken and meat donar kebabs and burgers are just as available as pizza in the disc. limited seating area not very clean open for the main road.

For a first timer I wouldn't say too bad, but not the best. I have the mix kebab and I just don't like the pita brot they use, it tastes like very low quality and the salat is not so fresh. that will be my last point.

We stayed at the Radisson Suites and found this fantastic place while trying to find something reasonable and non-Asian for dinner one night after a disaster of an experience with a burger over at Darling Harbour. The pizza (which, for an American, can be hit or miss in Australia- no offense to my Aussie family and friends) was absolutely FABULOUS! (I had the Medium Veggie). We tried them the next night for burger and Gozeleme (sorry if that's wrong in spelling- it is something like a flat bread version of a Quesadilla)--- also FAB. The guys working there were absolutely great and the prices were reasonable for take away in Sydney (where everything tends to be so expensive normally!) I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something fast, reasonable and no hassle! Also! The size of the chip boxes (French fries for my American friends) are huge and cheap and really delicious! My only complaint (and this is for the whole of Sydney- not this fab take away) is that you have to ask for and usually pay for "sauce" (aka Ketchup)... and for some reason if you want vinegar for fish and chips, it seems like a foreign item to so many places (again, not this place in particular, as we didn't ask- but generally in so many other places)

This is one of the many walk up sorta counter joints with a few booths to sit at where you can get just about any type of grub imaginable.

If you want a "no-frills" beautiful food, is a kebab or kebab dish while driving one of the livenest roads of Sydney, the way is the way to go. Grief Strictly a Takeaway joint, but has a sterile and inviting environment; Also fast service.
