Salty Paws Doggie Ice Cream - Sylmac

This was the best place I have ever been to for doggie ice cream. So many choices. I am sad that they are now closed. They will be missed.

We just moved here and we’re so excited to bring our dogs here. The lady running the store was extremely rude that we decided to take our business elsewhere.She then followed us out of the store to tell us that we’re “crazy” for leaving.

I have driven downtown, parked (paid to park), and walked to this store twice now, during their open hours and they weren 't open. Yesterday (tuesday), it was 5pm and they were closed. After wasting my time twice there will not be another chance. I called the number on their website (at 10:25am) and no one answered, but the voicemail says they are open 9am-11pm daily, which does not match yelp or google.

I have been here a few times over the past year. I wish the service was better so I could give a five star review!The pros: My dog really loves the ice cream, it’s conveniently located, it has great prices.The cons: The staff is largely indifferent and makes me feel like I’m inconveniencing them by being in their store. They make me feel like a l for being all excited to see my dog eat ice cream. There are a lot of dog treats close to the ground where my dog can steal them. The table and chairs are in the center of the store which means other dogs walk close to them, which makes my dog uncomfortable while she’s eating her ice cream.

Took our dog for the first time and he LOVED it! The flavors sound good enough for humans to eat let alone the dogs. We got one scoop cheddar cheese and one scoop maple bacon for our dog and he devoured it in minutes. The treats on display are ADORABLE! Dog donuts, dog beer, dog cookies, and more. Wish we lived closer!
