I adore Matador. Wherever I go, I always make sure to visit a Matador location. From the ones in Colorado, where I was raised, to the ones in the Pacific Northwest where I currently reside, the food at Matador never disappoints. After years of living in the Pacific Northwest, I have yet to find another sit-down restaurant that compares to Matador. Their locations in Redmond, Tacoma, and Ballard are all exceptional and the staff is wonderful. Thank you, Matador, for always being there to satisfy my cravings.
Some of the best food I've had in Tacoma. The dip trio is super good
Matador's squash quesadilla was worth the wait to be seated. It literally melts in your mouth with each bite of squash, goat cheese filling, and spices.
A group of us stopped in on a Saturday afternoon while downtown playing a CluedUpp wizard mystery game. We ordered nachos and they were great. It was much larger than we expected so we shared it among the five of us. Delicious. We were fortunate to have Ricky as the bartender, we sat at the bar, and he was extremely professional and personable. And his skills at crafting drinks was impressive.
