This building was a credit union. The company which renovated Miyahara (eye clinic) to an Ice cream store, did it again. They kept most of old building, such as the door way, the wall, the counters, etc. It's more fancy than the Miyahara eye clinic. I think is a bit trying too hard, too much. I prefer the first one they did. But in here, it has big room you can enjoy your ice cream or drink in seats.
A memorable trip with some good sweets and ice cream.
Great job at keeping the history of the bank while converting it to a dessert cafe. Similar charm as the more popular Miyahara Ice Cream Parlor, Fourth Credit Union is slowly catching on as well. The queue outside comes and goes. So it depends on what time you go. Many different flavors of ice cream to choose from and very delicious. The service was great, but we just had a little trouble with getting our orders right. A great spot for a Taichung tourist experience.
Delicious Taiwanese gelato. One star deducted because of those damn paper spoons. Do you know what happens when paper spoons get wet because they definitely do come into contact with ice cream? They become floppy and useless. And that means you can’t eat the ice cream.
