Outback Steakhouse

The service was delightful, and the food was outstanding. This place is undoubtedly one of my favorites whenever I'm in the U.S.

We had an exceptional steak dinner! We visited in August 2022 and ordered the 8oz Sirloin and the 16oz Porterhouse, both accompanied by loaded potatoes. One steak came with a loaded baked potato, while the other was served with loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The meals were delightful, the staff was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the steaks were outstanding! We highly recommend this restaurant!

This Outback is quite inconsistent. Sometimes our meals are enjoyable, and other times they miss the mark. I recently ordered delivery after spending the day preparing for a storm. I opted for the Queensland chicken and shrimp, which is meant to have a bit of spice. However, there was far too much seasoning on both the chicken and shrimp, almost as if the cook had just dumped it on. The Alfredo sauce also had an off-putting smell, as if it were old, and the shrimp were tough. I won't be ordering delivery from them again. I'm including photos to show how much seasoning I had to remove with my fork.

It had been some time since my husband and I last visited the Outback, as our previous experiences there left much to be desired in terms of service. However, we decided to give it another try since it has always been one of our favorite restaurants. Our experience last night was quite different. Our waitress, Maria G, was exceptional! She clearly had a lot of experience as a server. Maria timed our appetizers and main courses perfectly, and her friendly personality made the evening even more enjoyable. Thank you, Maria, for making our visit a pleasant one!

This Outback location in Carrollwood, FL, features a clean and modern decor, showcasing some nice updates made in recent years. Initially, the service was excellent, but it quickly declined when it was time for us to settle our bill, as the waitstaff seemed to ignore us. On the positive side, the food was quite enjoyable. We sampled the new tot appetizer, which unfortunately had the appearance of baby food, but it was flavorful and spicy. I had the Filet Mignon accompanied by mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, which were both very good. I've always appreciated the flavors at Outback Steakhouse. Overall, I have a fondness for Outback, but the service at this location left much to be desired.
