I recently enjoyed one of the best roast meals I've had in a while at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and it's also dog-friendly, which was a big plus.
I have eaten here twice recently (including yesterday) the setting on the green on a Saturday afternoon being the perfect way to chill. The food is spot on, beautifully presented and perfectly balanced flavours I have had the breakfast and the home made ale pie. As for the haddock topped with a free range egg exquisite .
Superb environment and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and yummy. Will surely recommend this restaurant to others. Reasonable rates and big meals. Keep up the great work.
Never ever again will I go here great location but the staff are not only miserable but one woman (think she may own it) is by far the rudest woman I have ever came across in my life! I was eating my food and this woman came outside to where we where sitting and in front of everyone shouted who’s car is this.. (I had to park funny as the car park is tiny and I wanted to leave space for people to get out) I said me and she continued to shout DEMANDING in a very rude manner that I move it in front of everyone else in the garden! Not one please or thank you I then explained why I parked that way and she began to tell me I was wrong and “move your car now we park like Soldiers” Once I moved my car the other customers (that I didn’t know on other tables) also said how rude she was and couldn’t believe how she spoke to me. we all decided to leave...never ever again will I go here!
