They waited until exactly 4 PM to let us know the room was available. Upon receiving our wristband keys, only one of them worked; the other two didn't. We returned to the front desk, where we were handed another set of wristbands, and now none of the six bands were functional. This meant I had to stand in line for a third time to resolve the issue. Additionally, they charge $25 per day for self-parking, a fee that was introduced during the Covid pandemic and, three years later, they are still charging guests to park on their premises.
Outdated and disappointing. For the amount of money spent, this place needs to improve significantly. On my first day, I was assigned a room that had pet urine all over the floor, despite my severe allergy to pets. The carpet was old and filthy. The only amenity included in the package was a dirty water park. They desperately need to shut down for a thorough power washing and sanitization of the entire facility. As for hospitality, it was the worst I’ve ever experienced; when I went to use the bathroom, there were dirty washcloths and towels left behind by previous guests, still wet. I wish I could give this place zero stars instead of one. They are making a lot of money but not reinvesting it into improving the facility. Absolutely disgusting. Rooms: appalling.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and found it to be relatively small compared to Kalahari and Great Wolf Lodge, which are nearby. They initially assigned us to the wrong room, and we had to rush back to get the correct one. In my opinion, Kalahari is the best option for adults and families, while Great Wolf Lodge is perfect for families with young children. I would rate the rooms a 4 out of 5.
Good time with the grandkid indoor Waterpark is free if you stay at resort. Decent food good size arcade. Nightly free entertainment in lobby. Only downside is the $25 a night parking fee. Clean rooms, lots to do. Will definitely return it the future.Rooms: 4/5
I actually went to camel beach water park and it was very difficult to have any enjoyment whatsoever because there were way too many people there couldn't find a chair to relax in lines for the slides were outrageously long and the wave pool was so packed with people that everytime the waves came on everyone was being slammed into everyone else. Food prices were inordinately high $15 for a cheese burger and fries. They had protective sleeves for your phones but they were $25. So no space to relax, no room to enjoy the wave pool or lazy river, and extremely high prices. The ticket price was the only reasonable thing, and even that went wrong they were discounted if you ordered them online but whenever I tried to order them I got error message saying my transaction couldn't be completed at this time and the ticket counter person still tried to hock the online option even after I showed her it didn't work and refused to honor the discount that I couldn't get because their system was broken. At the very least take care of the overcrowding issue and I may consider returning until then if the only thing you care about is how much cash you can rake in by cramming past capacity I won't be returning.
