Nothing memorable. My entree was the New Orleans medley. It contained gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice and grilled smoked sausage. On paper it sounds great but in reality it was just average. I’ve been to New Orleans so I was kind of hoping for the same flavor and quality. Service was okay. Overall it was a very mid experience. About a 2.5/5.
I went for the oysters, because I had heard so much about them. I ordered both fried and chargrilled oysters. They were just ok... lots of butter and lacking in flavor.I would caution anyone dining here to check your bill carefully. Our server included a 20% tip to our bill and claimed it's automatic for parties of 5 or more. However, the menu clearly states in bold letters that the tip is automatic for parties of 6 or more. There were 5 people in our party. When I called it to his attention, he immediately corrected the bill and removed the tip. I normally give a minumum 20% tip when dining out, so it wasn't a big deal, but the problem I had was the fact that he was not honest from the onset.
Food was great enormous oysters! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Lots of TVs to watch games, and plenty of space for large groups and
Wentfor a birthday dinner, and service was fantastic, drinks were great, and the food was delicious. One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Oysters were fresh, pontchartrain was great and the shrimp appetizer was a good start.
Went in for a job interview. Hopefully I get the job. Upon walking in I was asked if I had been helped. The establishment was clean. The environment was welcoming. There is lots of room and tables for guest. Didn't get the opportunity to try any menu item's. Hopefully next time.
