Truindia - The Energy Corridor, Houston

Previous fan of this place. Today was my last time coming here my mom 's first time. I paid close to $30 for two buffet meals. Not once did they come to the table to check on our drinks or pick up previous used plates. We only got 3 small pieces of naan no refills on water. I asked if I pay for a 3rd buffet do a take home plate for my elderly Dad since it was just me my Mom dining and the lady said yes , then came back told me no ... all the guy there did was watch other customers eat talk on the phone. Never Again!

This Tandoori chicken is super amazing!! Sizzling and spicy. I have to drive 20 miles down annoying 45 and it's totally worth it!

JUST GO ACROSS THE STREET TO DESI KITCHEN IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD. I like to explore new places and wanted to give TruIndia a try, despite average to below-average reviews and ratings. I should’ve chosen somewhere else. In a city like Houston, teeming with south asians, one expects a higher quality of Indian food. We were, however, thoroughly disappointed on hearing that despite being advertised, they don’t have Chaats (Indian appetisers). Other than that, the Saag/Spinach was disappointing.

Great place with lots of food options! The service was very good! The food was very delicious! Garlic naan was excellent!!!

Thursday is half off dosa, except for the rava dosa. The service is really good. We had dosas, and had a great time. Super affordable.
