Marlowe - Thornhill

Upon my arrival at 10pm, I was told that I would have to pay a cover charge to be seated. I mentioned to the lady on the phone earlier about this and she said it would be okay, especially since more than half of the restaurant was empty. However, the owner or manager, an older woman, came out and sarcastically told me to either pay the cover charge or leave. Feeling disrespected and mistreated, I decided to leave. After being a loyal customer and spending a lot of money at this restaurant in the past, I felt extremely disappointed by the way I was treated that night. Due to this experience, I will no longer be patronizing this establishment and will also be sharing my negative experience with my friends. It is unacceptable to treat customers in such a disrespectful manner.

The restaurant has a beautiful terrace, with nice and friendly staff, and the food was excellent. I started with the "Appetizer Platter," followed by the delicious "Peppercorn Steak" for my main course, and finished off with "Banana Fritters" for dessert. We had a fantastic night and I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant always has daily specials for a few select dishes. They offer a variety of appetizers, wine, and entrees. The location is convenient with plenty of parking available. Dinner is not very crowded due to the office lunch crowd nearby. They also have music in the evenings.

Amazing delicious food and service. I can't have enough rave here. I booked it for my fiancée's birthday, we had a good size party and everyone loved their dinner. I've been here a few times and what I've ever commanded, whatever it takes... differently, they never disappointed. Very recommended.

Staff was nice but under staffed in our opinion. Got there at 7:45pm. There were 20 of us. The manager over booked at restaurant. Did not get drinks nor appetizers nor meals until 9pm. Our meals came out 15 20 minutes apart, did not eat...together. Some of our food was cold. Disco started at 10:30pm. We had to leave because there were 4 under 18. The Manager gave us 25% off our bill. First impression not good, there may not be a next time as i dont know how long it would take for my food to arrive. The parking is a disaster in that plaza because there are 10 restaurants there. Took 10 minutes to get a parking spot.
