She had her gluten free fresh fruit waffle, I had my normal waffle with cherries. She finished hers then asked if we could share a gluten free pancake! A very happy, but now feeling sickly, girlfriend!
Bottom line: awesome hidden gem for celiac in Bruges. Gluten line: tons of options! Long line: tons of treats for all the celiacs other there, and regular for those of us who don't. Wifey (celiac) loved her gluten free meal while I enjoyed my glutinous beer.
Tea was delicious and it's served with two small pieces of cake. The carrot cake I had was delicious. I ordered a Belgian Waffle with sugar and butter. The waffle was fantastic, with great consistency and fluffiness (i don't like the dense waffles . They provided an optional candied syrup. It's caramelizad flavor was unlike anything I've ever tasted and quite nice. Will highly recommend.
Gluten free waffles! Need I say anything more. But in all seriousness, it’s one of the only places — if not the only — in Bruges where you can find a gluten free breakfast menu. The Belgian chocolate-flavoured tea is also a must-try!
Veggie omlette was amazing! The Belgium waffle was cooked perfectly. The waiter was really nice and a lot of fun. Great little brunch place to stop in.
