Tomiko - Tilden Lake

After many trips back and forth passing by my wife and I finally stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. She had a bacon breakfast sandwich and I had a bacon cheeseburger, we were both blown Away both by the taste and the generous serving. Looking forward to stopping in again to try some of the different hot dogs and poutine!

It was one of the best burger i ever had. Small TransCanada diner worth the stop for everything they provide. I had a club sandwich and it was impeccable. Of real note was the bacon! Also we had fries ordered to the table. Thick cut, perfectly cooked and brilliantly tasty. I ate them without condiments. Aside from the excellent home cooked style meals, the service was second to none. Friendly, kind, attentive, and just all round great. Truly reflects the simplicity and friendly excellence of what I've come to love about northern diners. This place is worth the trip. Don't just make it a stop on the highway. Go here especially, and specifically for the food and service.
