Perfect. Everything was incredible, from the food to the service. Genuinely preferred it to Benihana, which is even better news if you live in the south suburbs and don't feel like driving all the way out there, lol. I feel like this one is a true hidden gem.
I give this place high praise. I have searched the country for a hibachi place that can rival my hometown, and I have found it. Been coming here for years cause it's like home away from home. Best golden sauce south side of Chicago. And their garlic noodles are to die for! Be sure to call ahead for a reservation cause they get booked quick!
We came here a few days ago on a Friday night and made a last-minute reservation. To my surprise they were able to accommodate us right away. I’m pretty sure they newly renovated some of the space, and it looks great. Everything looked very clean. Our hibachi chef was so fun and pleasant, he made it an enjoyable experience for everyone on the table. Half of our group had never had hibachi before, and he made a very good first impression. The mushroom soup was delicious and the ginger salad is a staple. I wish they had different water cups, for some reason they felt dirty to everyone on the table. The meats, shrimp and chicken we’re all delicious. The noodles are addicting and the fried rice was perfect. Excellent service, would definitely return!
Food was really good. If you come for lunch or anything they require that you have 2 people minimum eat in the intimate grill setting. That was disappointing as I was looking forward to the cooking display. Customer service was good. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact they added their OWN gratuity for a one party lunch meal!! I don't find that appeasing at all. The lunch filet might and chicken combo hibachi was only 19.99 on the menu plus my drink, but my total came out to be like 37.49 after their gratuity add on... outside of that , everything else was nice. I would order again to go if I cone into the area in the future.
