Shelter - Tofino

I had an absolutely amazing meal! We tried the Izakaya Salad, tuna tataki, shrimp mussel fettuccine, and seared wild sockeye salmon. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. I really enjoyed the ambiance, and the patio area is beautiful with a lovely view. They had the heaters on, making it so cozy. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience!

Delicious comfort food! After a rainy day, this restaurant consistently delivered with their warm soups, and they offered several healthy salads and seafood options. I would definitely return. Food: 9/10, Atmosphere: 8/10, Service: 8/10, Value: 8.5/10.

Nice environment, beautiful view and good confort food! Went with my husband and a couple of friends for lunch, we asked for the fish and chips (big size) and crispy calamari, both dishes were very well done with fresh ingredients, I particularly loved the sauce, prices were ok.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant! The fish tacos were fantastic, and I loved the pork rinds. The tuna tataki was also very delicious. However, the fish and chips were a bit disappointing; the fish felt a little too mushy. The fries and slaw were fairly average. We opted for a booth, which meant there was a good amount of space between everyone.

We ate here this weekend and it was incredible. Prime location, great food and excellent service with a classy yet relaxed atmosphere. Joe our server was very helpful and gave us delicious recommendations. Shelter is a must visit restaurant while in Tofino.
