Tofitan Cafe - Tofino

The espresso at this restaurant is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, especially appreciated the recyclable cups and lids (no plastic). The half moon cookies were also delicious. While the service was slow, this was likely due to social distancing measures put in place during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's definitely worth the wait.

Okay, maybe I like the pastries too much. I'll take it. but as someone who really loves, really has a good bake and has reviewed the other offers in the city, this place was by far the best. we tried the hearty breakfast...scone (dryer ham, gruyere, ei, rosmarin potato), the mandel croissant, the apfel zimtschone and the Pesto breakfast flatbread. they were all phenomenal. the americano and london fog were also delicious. we will be back to our new fave breakfast place!

As others critiken said, we read the covid protocols. max people pro etage. we waited outside until a few left and there were people. we went in and waited right at the door, she looked out and said they were with these. they need better signing if they do not follow their own rules. I get rules, I work in health and we have our own rules, which is why I have read them explicitly and followed them. would have given stars for the baked, but they still have to be nice to the customers. they are the ones they keep in business.

Really good coffee and pastries here. I highly recommend checking this place out, the staff are really nice too. Can't wait to come back!
