Poor Boy's Riverside Inn - Broussard

After many years of patronage beginning at Pinhook bridge, this icon has succumbed to precooked, frozen microwaved food service. The same thing happened about 10 years ago in Maurice, LA. Why????

Went with Hubby as a last-minute decision on our recent trip down to visit family and just had to take my Mom and Sister the next time I came down. Just might be my go-to restaurant in Lafayette! Crab Fingers are a must have appetizer! Oh and be sure to grab you a pint of herb dip to go!

The food was good. Not great. They were out of Lobster. The waiter was exceptional. For the price, there are plenty of better places to eat.

It's a great place to dine in and enjoy a great meal.

Very good food. Staff is friendly and very professional. I recommend the redfish extravaganza. And don’t forget to say hi to the mascots, three adorable baby raccoons. I will post a picture of the food and then a photo of the baby raccoons.
