I have seen them post a sign in the past that they wouldn't have a flavor that year because they didn't deem the fruit crop for it to be up to par. They would rather not have something than have it be substandard. So you can expect to have a delightful experience. How can I rank it? If you have been to Coldstone, this is 50% better. That is my opinion, of course, but Handel's gave me enough pause that I worked out a new rating system. Go try something there! Yes, they are sure enough that you will like it that they give out free samples. They also have dozens of flavors, many of them unique. If you have trouble deciding after that, remember that you can get 2-3 flavors on a cone or in a quart. Enjoy!
Best ice cream place I've ever had. We love the year round hours and drive through. I stock on pints and always tip the workers who most of the year seem super, super busy.
Best ice cream stand in the Toledo area! Vast array of flavors, other frozen specialties too. Their malts, shakes floats are delicious as well
The ice cream is delicious, but I was disappointed that for a sundae there was only 1 size which was a small portion. The drive thru option was great but the bushes were not cut making it difficult to see as you leave onto the main road. I also had a fresh squeezed lemonade which was very tasty.
Amazing ice cream! I usually get one of their delicious shakes when the craving strikes. It's close to home. The lines can be really long at times, but it is worth the wait! Gotta try Handel's if you haven't already.
