Urhungry - Tollgate

Terrible service. The worst waitress. Used to be a good for breakfast. Not anymore. Complained to the owner but was ignored.

After waiting so long to see a waitress that two *other* servers said they'd find our server, we waited over 30 minutes for the order to come out. Again other servers were checking on us, but not ours. Even the nice lady seated next to us (who seemed to be a regular) commented about the wait. At least the orders were wrong so things stayed the course...! That's right, of five orders only two were correct. No effort at all to fix them. Oh and don't forget the big guy with an empty plate harassing people wait! That's Mitch asking how things are going! You couldn't tell that of course, since he's the *only* employee without a nametag or apron or something indicating he's not a homeless guy asking for leftovers. I also really appreciate the direct eye contact while our server is waiting for me to do the mental math for her tip. The credit machine of course defaults to 20%, 25%, or 30%. Don't forget that we didn't get asked if we needed a bag for our take away boxes until we were almost out the door, and even then it was from a guy in the kitchen. We're local and not only won't be back, we'll make sure our neighbors hear all about this disaster.

This was my first time calling to place a pick up order at Mitch’s Westside in Weston. The male employee who answered the phone had no courtesy, manners or basic greeting demeanor in answering a phone. I continued to try to place my order, but he was very rude and obnoxious, and when I was hanging up he had no remorse or empathy for his unexplainable customer service. This establishment just does not care or want more customers! It’s definitely not the type of place I want to be seen associated with. Life is too short to be bothered with unkind people.

In the past, I would have dined in Mitch's Deli but that has all changed due to the virus. Today, I pulled up to a parking space and placed my order for curbside pickup. Five minutes later, I had my order delivered to my car. Great service, great food!!

Mitches is one if the Best Places in Weston, BROWARD County Florida. The food is fresh, service is Very Good and the owner accommodating! Highly recommended if you live here or visit!
