Rose Garden Cafe - Gecko Valley Winery

I had planned to visit this restaurant earlier in the week, but it was closed. I decided to try again on Friday. When I arrived at 3:00 p.m., I was told that the kitchen had already closed at 2:00 p.m. They could only offer coffee and cake, not a full meal. Despite this, I decided to relax and ordered a glass of wine to enjoy in the beautiful outdoor area. The staff kindly offered me a taste of a white wine before I ordered. After seeing other patrons enjoying delicious lunches, I asked for a cheese plate. They were able to make a $17 cheese plate for two, but I wished I had known I could have ordered a smaller plate for one. Despite this, I still enjoyed the wine, the stunning views, and the beautiful Queensland weather. I am not looking forward to returning to Melbourne's winter!

Great place for a caffe but so a scandal that the owners seem no accompaniment, what they do and do not care about an iota for their customers. they come by as if they liked us by eating us and serving us coffee. poor, coffee terrible, wein not worth the money, access road and signage is horrific not disturbing! such a scandal that they could have made this place amazing!

Nice little place to lunch. the prices are not bad. I wasn't back, but would like to try again. weeping they made were for sale and were pretty nice

Beautiful place and atmosphere, although it is quite windy and hot outside, which is the preferred situation. great food (although ground) and drinks, excellent service. it is worth trying.

Was good to see a better road to the café. Also nice to be able to taste the Baffle Creek craft beers. Lunch was good although servings are small, service is slow. Dessert are nice but also small and coffee was a real disappointment unfortunately...as we are coffeeholics and would come back here often just for that but needless to say we won't and won't order coffees next time. Overall it's a nice place to come for something different.
