Feedback gevenThe food tasted delicious. The service was comfortable. I enjoyed the complimentary soup and salad, as well as the spiced black tea. The tea was good, although slightly too sweet. The restaurant was clean, albeit a bit outdated. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
Spectacular eating with aromes that are heavenly. the best I ever have.
The chicken mandi is aromatic and of high quality, although it takes some time to be served. The fresh mandi is always delicious. The salads served with the mandi come with a sensational Thousand Island sauce. The restaurant has an Arabic setup, except for the western music playing. The equipment is good and the service time is satisfactory.
#throwback. If you're in the mood for delicious Yemeni cuisine, Al Mandi is the place to be. I've tried a variety of dishes, but my top choices are the Chicken Stew and Goat Meat. The portion sizes are ample for two people, but if you're really hungry, you could easily polish off a portion by yourself - I've done it a few times! The rice served with the dishes is reminiscent of Indian biryani rice, which is always a plus. The meats are fresh and bursting with flavor, tantalizing your taste buds. Each dish comes with a side of salad and soup, both of which are equally delicious. And let's not forget about the hot sauce provided with every dish - it's absolutely amazing. Rating: 4/5.
Awesome, quaint, and interesting place for MandiWhile not the best I've had, it's certainly a no frills and fun environment for Mandi in Toronto.
