Anchor Bar - Toronto

This restaurant was quite good overall, but the only issue was the understaffing which resulted in slow service. I decided to order the Chicken Tenders meal.

I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, who had spoken highly of their experiences. Let me describe this place for you.

I have visited this restaurant a few times before, but I was disappointed with my experience today. When I arrived, no one greeted me at the front, and I stood there for a couple of minutes before being told to seat myself.

I was looking forward to eating these wings for awhile. Unfortunately I was not impressed. I ordered the Chipotle BBQ flavour single. I received my order and only got celery, thankfully I don't mind celery but I was surprised I didn't get any carrots? I ate two wings, and that was it. I did not like them. My husband wasn't in the mood to eat wings and ordered the Buffalo Chicken Poutine and that was really good.

We have made this our regular local bar. The food is excellent! There is always a great atmosphere and people are friendly to each other and are made comfortable by the staff. Ryan the bar tender does a fantastic job! He's always on top of things and makes everyone feel welcome. He's an asset to this establishment and it's always a pleasure to go there.
