Kibo Sushi House - Toronto

Been here a few times. I like how they serve their rolls, both visually and taste-wise (little things they add to them like sauce and crunchy bits), quality of food is very good, as is their ambiance. I'd say, this is my first choice of sushi places around St Clair West.

Ok, maybe I'm spoiled because I'm from Vancouver, but in my opinion this place is about quantity and not necessarily quality. The reviews I read suggested that there are some issues with the service which I did experience ... but the main fatal flaw was the quality of the food. The sashimi did not look or taste especially fresh, and the tempura was overly deep fried. The best part of my bento box was actually the salad. Long story short this is a great place if you're looking for a big meal without spending much, but if you're looking for high quality food you may want to look elsewhere.

Kibo Sushi House offers decent sushi if you are in the St.Clair West neighbourhood. Check out their daily specials for a deal. It's convenient for my partner and I to eat here as it's just around the corner from our place. Located in the residential neighbourhood of Wychwood Park, many families visit this Kibo location. On every occasion I've visited there have been noisy toddlers and kids using their 'outdoor voices.' It's not something I enjoy and makes me think twice before heading to this location.

We visited this restaurant twice in our short stay in Toronto. The quality of the sushi is great. Very well balanced quantity of ingredients and it is clearly high quality. The servers both times were okay, but the the sushi was really great for vegetarians like ourselves. Price is very competitive too.

I came here expecting to find a whole bunch of reviews on Kibo Sushi House, and was surprised to only find one. My husband was too tired to go to our usual sushi spot and stopped in to pick up dinner. Thank goodness he did, we absolutely loved it and I think this just may very well be out new sushi spot. It was so beautifully presented, fresh and very tasty. Now I look forward to Friday night (the day I don't cook and we pickup or order in).
