Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza - Toronto

Lots of vegan options, vegan cheese, and their pizza is absolutely delicious!

I had to give this place a second try because I really didn't like it the first time. I got the Diana pizza the first time and the crust was flat and wasn't very good. The second time I got the Godmother and it was pretty good. It's great that they have vegan options so I wish it was better. They have a vegan section and a different plant based section on their menu. The plant based section pizzas have veggie meats and real cheese. Not sure how cheese classifies as plant based? And there are no veggie meats on the vegan pizzas, only the plant based. Are those not vegan????? Very confusing. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-02

I ordered the fredo vegan pizza which had slices of Yukon gold potatoes. It was absolutely flavorless and was so incredibly dry. It was literally just dry slices of potato on dough with no sauce and barely any seasoning whatsoever. I might change my review if I ever decide to try the other two vegan pizzas, but I don’t really feel like going again based on my experience.

I have always loved pizzaiolo. Even before I was vegan. Their Vittoria pizza is delicious and reminds my of my nonnas pizza.
