Rosato - Torres del PRI

Had several choices to eat from at the Fiesta Americana hotel, so one night we decided to head down to Rosato's for dinner, not knowing what to expect.....As we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly hostess, who took us to our table. Our waiter then came out, and found out it was our 31st wedding anniversary, and set us up with shots of tequila. We had some appetizers, then the main course, which I had the chicken parmigiana, while my wife had some kind of pasta dish, and both were EXCEPTIONAL! We were catered to and spoiled the whole meal. And after dinner was over, they brought us out a tasteful desert dish in honor of our anniversary, which was very thoughtful. The staff went above and beyond, the food was outstanding, and yes, we will be back the next time we stay at Fiesta Americana!

Rosato is one of the specialty restaurants at Fiesta Americana Condesa Resort. If you are craving Italian food, it will suffice. My Parmesan chicken dish here was of average size and a bit overcooked. Bread tasted a bit stale. My Caesar salad was modest, yet well-presented. A lot of pressure to order wine from their high-priced wine list. I ordered a 60$ US bottle of Chilean that was a 15$ bottle of mediocrity. If you like Olive Garden, maybe wait and go there when you get home.

I came to this resort three years ago and was dying to eat here again! I kept telling my friends how good it was and they were super psyched to try it out! We ordered everything off the menu and had a little taste of each item. Our favorites were the lasagna Bolognese, Portabella mushrooms, and risotto. The service was above and beyond! The food comes out fast and they constantly ask if you need anything else. They kept our glasses of wine full and our bellies! This is a must try! Too bad they only open for dinner otherwise I would have wanted it for lunch!
